Thomas Bruin

Thomas Bruin graduated top of his class with a Masters in Finance from UNCW and Hochschule Bremen. He started his career working for a large asset management bank in Amsterdam, in his home country, Holland. He later came back stateside to join his family’s small business accounting firm to help for and non-profit companies across the country to manage their day to day accounting and finance functions.

Leaving the family business he switched gears to become the corporate controller of a California-based Tech company. Today he is founder and CEO of Transcend Bookkeeping & Finance, again helping small and medium-size businesses achieve their business goals through providing financial clarity and established processes. In his free time, Thomas enjoys meditation, yoga, reading, woodworking, running and spending time with his family.
