Surf Shops Shootout
Event Details
The Surf Shops Shootout is a 4 person, tag-team, single elimination surf contest with surf shops from up and down the East Coast competing for a $5,000 prize purse. Each team must include one shop employee and each surfer has a three wave max. There will be a blind heat draw the night before the contest, each heat will last an hour, and the winner will take the full prize purse.
When all the surfing heats have been completed we will be hosting an award ceremony in the Solstice restaurant and bar at the Lumina starting at 6:00 PM with more live music, food, drinks, an exciting raffle raising funds for Live Fearlessly Foundation, and of coarse presenting our top 4 shops with trophies, prizes, and the $5,000 cash.Â
This year is going to be bigger and better than last year – let’s pray for some waves! We hope to see you the day of.
The contest will include an art and holistic health festival in the courtyard of the Lumina on Wrightsville Beach with live music, drinks, food, and upcoming innovative vendors showcasing their services and products. Â
