Maggi Apel is an entrepreneur and advocate for women’s leadership and personal growth, bringing more than 20 years of experience in marketing, sales, and community engagement. In 2015, she co-founded WILMA Leadership, helping shape a program that has impacted thousands of women across the Wilmington region. In 2026, she founded The Good Energy Collective, creating experiences that inspire women to rediscover themselves, explore new possibilities, and embrace what’s next.

Maggi’s connection to Live Fearlessly is deeply personal. As a longtime friend of Jacob’s family, she has been involved since the organization was just an idea, supporting its grassroots efforts through community events, fundraising, and awareness-building. Serving on the board is a meaningful continuation of that journey.

A longtime Wilmington resident, Maggi enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and seeking out new experiences. She believes self-discovery is a lifelong journey and that staying curious, open, and connected to the people around us makes life all the more meaningful.
